Dermal fillers
Lost volume in cheeks and lips can be replaced by Hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers such as the Juvederm range. Such fillers are used for replacing volume into the deeper layers of the skin. Areas of the face that fillers are used for include:
- Nasolabial folds
- Lips
- Cheeks
- Tear troughs
- Scars- used with Subcision
Cheek volume can be effectively replaced by deep fillers, while superficial fine lines can be reduced by thin fillers. Fillers can last approximately 6 to 12 months depending on the thickness and the amount of filler introduced. The most common side-effects of filler treatment include bruising, lump formation and infection.
8 point face lift, liquid lift and MD codes are new and excellent techniques for replacing lost facial volume.
