Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra

These skin tag like lesions develop on facial skin in patients with darker skin. Sometimes they may extend to the neck and even the chest.

Dermatosis papulosa nigra can be effectively treated using the carbon dioxide laser. Procedure is safe if performed by an adequately trained laser expert. Specialised mode on the carbon dioxide Laser has been used to improve those lesions in very dark skin patients without any complications. Multiple treatments can be required to achieve a successful response.
